We are delighted to share the House of Lords Youth Unemployment Committee’s report on ‘Skills for every young person’, published today.
CEO of The 5% Club, Mark Cameron OBE, gave evidence to the Committee in March this year.
The Youth Employment Group, which The 5% Club is a member of, also contributed written and oral evidence and through sub-group submissions and contributions of the Youth Voice Forum.
The Committee have embraced the YEG’s recommendations for an opportunity guarantee for every young person, as well as calling on the Government to extend and reform the Kickstart scheme, extend employer apprenticeship incentives, the lifetime skills guarantee and much more.
