The Apprenticeship Diversity Champions Network (ADCN) was launched in 2017, and is Chaired by Helen Grant MP. ADCN is an employer led Network whose members have committed to take action to widen participation in apprenticeships, champion diversity, and support greater social mobility. Members, including Rolls Royce and Balfour Beatty, work across their organisations as well as with schools, partners and suppliers, to ensure apprenticeships are open to candidates from all backgrounds, as well as increasing representation from ethnic minority candidates, women in STEM, candidates with learning difficulties or disabilities, and those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

The Brathay Apprentice Challenge, the search for the apprentice team of the year, is supported by the National Apprenticeship Service as an annual challenge for employers and apprentices, since 2012.  In 2017, teams of apprentices reached over 70,000 young people to raise awareness of the benefits of apprenticeships and recruited over 500 new employers interested in offering apprenticeships.

Chartered Management Institute creates leaders through management and leadership development training, qualifications, membership and research.

CMI leads on accrediting a full suite of leadership and management apprenticeships, including a Level 7 Senior Leader Master’s Degree Apprenticeship.

The Design and Technology Association supports high quality design, engineering and technology education. It is a membership organisation providing advice, support and training for those involved in teaching design, engineering and technology

Blueprint 1000 movement has been launched to connect industry with education. The objective is to help industry and education bridge the widening skills gap and build an inspiring, innovative and proficient workforce by supporting Design & Technology education in our schools & colleges.

The Scaffolding Association is a not-for-profit independent trade organisation campaigning to raise standards of safety, technical quality and workforce skills in the scaffolding sector. Membership of the Association is an assurance of quality and demonstrates an ability to carry out the safe design, installation and commissioning of equipment.

The Association works with its members, client organisations, government agencies and standard setting bodies to ensure high standards of training and competence across the industry. It also protects standards through a competence-based independently verified accreditation scheme in line with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
