The Impact of School Outreach: driving inclusion in your attraction strategy

As part of our new partnership with The Schools Outreach Company we are delighted to launch this joint event as part of our autumn programme.
Employers are seeking to expand their talent pools and create a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
Many young people lack ‘social capital’ and do not have access to good careers advice. There are many schools where employers rarely visit, whose parents or carers have little or no professional expertise, who lack the time and resources to pursue placements or internships.
These young people will be unaware of your marketing collateral, your careers web pages or be aware of the opportunities you may have on offer.
To attract diverse candidates, organisations need to reach out beyond their traditional talent pools. To build an effective talent pipeline a comprehensive school outreach programme and marketing plan is essential.
During this online event where you will hear from:
  • Matt Higgins, Employer Brand & Development Manager, Barratt Developments PLC
  • Amy Sutcliffe, UTC Projects Co-ordinator, Baker Dearing Educational Trust
  • With an opportunity to ask questions of the experts.

Broadcast Date: Wednesday 5 October
