To mark National Apprenticeship Week 2022, The 5% Club was delighted to hold a joint event with the OU.
An expert panel discussed whether apprenticeships are an effective way of opening up opportunity in the workplace to help create a more diverse and inclusive workforce. Hosted by Anna Morrison CBE of Amazing Apprenticeships, the webinar featured new data from an exclusive employer survey published for National Apprenticeship Week by The Open University.
The survey highlighted the current demand for apprenticeships across England across different sectors and how they are enabling organisations to grow their own talent. It also looked at the perceptions employers have about apprenticeships and their role in driving productivity and widening access. The panel discussed in detail how apprenticeships can unlock opportunities that may otherwise not be available to different sections of the workforce. This webinar will help you expand your thinking when it comes to delivering work-based learning and development to under-represented groups in your organisation and local community.
